My M1 Garand tosses the brass to the right mostly but is more inconsistent than my M14s. It also depens on what round number in the Garand. The 7th and 8th round is sometiems stright up. YMMV Web14 feb. 2013 · It won't hurt a thing and will get the base of your brass sized down so that chambering will not be an issue. You might want to invest in a 0-1" micrometer. That way you can measure the fired brass just above the extractor rim vz your sized brass. That will tell the story right there.
